A family from Guam who moved to Palau is in need of financial donations after they were involved in a car accident there.
The accident claimed the life of Isak Elbelau, Jr., and left his wife Lucy Siguenza Elbelau and their daughter in need of off island medical care.
The costs of burial and off island medical care, as you can imagine, are extraordinary.
To help alleviate the financial burden, Isak’s relative, Aisha Soaladaob, created a GoFundMe page to raise money for his burial and his wife and daughter’s medical needs.

Here is the message Aisha wrote on that page:
My name is Aisha and I’m writing this on behalf of my family in Palau.
As many already know, on June 05 2024 our family suffered a devastating tragedy that left us heartbroken. In the aftermath of the horrific collision that took away a father, husband, and son, we have to keep strong for the wife a daughter who were left fighting for their strength in the hospital. We can’t properly mourn his death until we know that his family first and foremost will be okay. Uncle Isak loved them more than anything and he made it well known. Auntie Lucy and babygirl Smiich need off island medical care and we are asking our family and friends to help us cover the costs for their air travel and medical bills and well as help for the funeral and burial expenses for the loved one whom we’ve lost. Anything will be greatly appreciated as we continue to pray for their fast recovery
