A person was found dead in the first floor garden of Guam Memorial Hospital this afternoon. Guam Police Department detectives are investigating the matter, and police spokeswoman Berlyn Savella said no other details will be provided at this time.
“Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division was activated and responded to a report of a body discovered in the vicinity of GMH.
“An investigation is currently underway, and further details will not be disclosed at this time as we await the Medical Examiner’s report.”
A source said the body (no information whether it was a man or a woman, or whether the deceased was a patient) was found in the garden, near the first floor stairwell around 2 p.m.
