Please see the following information from Guam Police Department spokeswoman Berlyn Savella regarding a shooting and robbery at Q-Mart in Talofofo, Guam:
At about 12:52 p.m., Southern Precinct Officers responded to a robbery at Q-MART off San Miguel St. in Talofofo.
Officers arrived and located a victim who was shot, and medical aid was provided.
Shortly after, Medic 11 arrived and transported the victim to Naval Regional Medical Center.
The GPD Criminal Investigation Division was activated and assumed total control of the investigation.
Suspect is described to be:
- Clad in all black.
- Black long sleeve shirt and black shorts.
- A black cloth that concealed his head with a black face mask and sun glasses.
He fled with an undetermined amount of cash and entered the passenger side of a white double cab Toyota pick up truck, unreadable license plate; black rims, dark tint, tri-fold black bed cover.
We have patrol officers, SOD, and CCTF officers canvassing the area.
