BREAKING NEWS: Power bills will be discounted $100 every month for five months


A $100 discount on your power bill will be made to your account for December and the following four months. Gov. Lou Leon Guerrero today signed Speaker Therese Terlaje and Sen. Joe San Agustin’s Bill No. 357 into Public Law 36-123, extending the discount program originally instituted earlier this year to help residents to afford the escalating price of electricity.

The program – Prugråaman Ayuda Para I Taotao-ta Energy Credit – was instituted from July through November. Senators and the governor decided to renew it.

“Extending the current program ensures that GPA customers continue to receive the benefits of the program during this holiday season, without interruption,” Ms. Leon Guerrero said.
