Federal agents, whom sources say are with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, have been seen entering and exiting the CNMI Department of Public Safety offices in Saipan Friday afternoon.
The FBI has not confirmed its presence there, though multiple photos support the reports.
Sources say the target of the visit is the department’s IT division, which is operated by DPS commissioner Robert “Eru” Guerrero’s brother.
Coincidentally, today purportedly is Mr. Guerrero’s last day reporting to work. Gov. Ralph Torres issued a memorandum announcing Juana Leon Guerrero as the acting commissioner “until further notice.”
No other information about this event is available as of this time.
