Office of the Governor of Guam–The Department of Revenue and Taxation (DRT), together with the Department of Administration (DOA), announces the release of the first batch of 2024 income tax refunds, totaling $27,818,380.35.
DOA is preparing and mailing 4,809 checks and processing 2,423 electronic payment refunds for taxpayers who filed error-free returns on or before January 31, 2025. Taxpayers are reminded that it may take up to five business days for refunds to reach them. Those receiving refunds via direct deposit will notice a $0 transaction in their bank account before the funds are deposited.
Taxpayers can look up the status of their return online at myguamtax.com. The status will indicate if the return is error-free (A Status) or if there are issues that need to be resolved. If there is an issue with the return, taxpayers are notified to contact DRT directly to resolve it.
DRT continues to receive and process 2024 income tax returns, and taxpayers have up until April 15, 2025, to file.
