GWHS locked down following report of weapon on campus


Police are sweeping George Washington High School following a report of a weapon on campus, according to Guam Police Department acting spokeswoman Berlyn Savella.
The principal of the school locked down the campus after “receiving information that there’s possibly a weapon on school grounds,” Ms. Savella said.
Superintendent Jon Fernandez said the school is investigating a threat by one or more students.
No other information is available at this time.
