Two men may face murder charges


Two men charged with the beating of Arno Narruhn may face murder charges now that Mr. Narruhn has died. An autopsy has revealed the manner of death a homicide, and the cause of death as blunt force head injury.

Branty Walliby and Jerron Walliby were charged on December 12 with aggravated assault, assault, reckless conduct, disorderly conduct, public drunkenness, and underage consumption of alcohol after Mr. Narruhn was rushed to Guam Regional Medical City the day before from Santa Lourdes St. Mr. Narruhn died one day after the men were charged originally.

“The AG is aware of the autopsy that was conducted today,” Guam Police Department spokeswoman officer Berlyn Savella confirmed. “They will move forward with the new information.”

“We will review the autopsy report and make a determination on if there is probable cause for additional charges,” Office of the Attorney General spokeswoman Carlina Charfauros said. “If so, we will file a superseding indictment.”
