Untalan re-elected chairman of the Guam Chamber of Commerce



The Guam Chamber of Commerce membership elected its Board of Directors and its slate of officers for the 2023 Administrative Year earlier this month.

Edward Untalan, Executive Vice President & Guam-CNMI Region Manager, of First Hawaiian Bank was re-elected Chairman of the Board. Ernie Galito, Marketing and Communications Director, Atkins Kroll, Inc., was elected Vice Chairman; and, Tae Oh, President, Vantage Advertising, PSI Holdings, LLC, was elected Secretary-Treasurer. Chairman Unatalan’s re-election sets the organization up for the Vice Chairman and Secratary-Treasurer to move into the successive roles of Chairman and Vice Chairman of the organization moving forward.

“The Guam Chamber Board has set up a succession plan that will lead the Chamber into the future. We are excited to work with the Board and newly elected officers as we forge ahead with our plan of action for 2023,” said Catherine Castro, President of the Guam Chamber of Commerce. “Together with our partners in the community, we look forward to working on the opportunities and challenges facing our island as well as strengthening our relationships to move us ahead as an island community.”

The 2023 Executive Committee of the Guam Chamber of Commerce will additionally be comprised of Joe Arnett, Senior Advisor, Deloitte and Touche, Past Chairman of the Board, Special Executive Committee Member Tom Shimizu, General Manager, Ambros Inc., Siska Hutapea, President, Cornerstone Valuation Guam, Inc., Ex-Officio Member and Guam Chamber of Commerce President Catherine Castro effective January 18, 2023.
