WATCH: Boys film aggravated assault at Dededo Skate Park

This video should not be viewed by minors. It shows young Guamanians – some who appear to be students – assaulting two young Guamanians at the Dededo Skate Park. Kandit blurred the faces shown in the video, in case any of them are minors.

As KUAM’s Tyler Matanane reported Thursday night, two young men were assaulted by what appears to be a gang of boys, some wearing what appear to be school uniforms. Both young men were transported to Guam Regional Medical City, where one of them lost his eye as a result of injuries sustained in the fight.

Kandit asked Guam Department of Education superintendent Jon Fernandez whether police asked any of his principals to aid in their investigation.

“All I can say is that we are working with the police to help identify any of the assailants,” Mr. Fernandez said. “However, it does not appear that they are current students. We are hopeful that the police will quickly apprehend the individuals involved.”
