29 criminals kicked off Guam since Doug Moylan returned to office

Twenty nine foreigners who were convicted of or pleaded guilty to violent and drug crimes have been kicked out of Guam – deported – since Douglas Moylan returned as attorney general in January. This is according to a more than 200-page report his office published Wednesday.

“Many foreigner criminals are repeat offenders,” Mr. Moylan said in the release. “Remove one from our community and you help several crime victims and stop numerous future violent and non-violent crimes. Deporting foreigner criminals not only saves us daily imprisonment costs, but also makes us feel and actually become safer in our homes and villages.”

Mr. Moylan’s office also is working on a protocol in concert with defense attorneys to remove criminal defendant foreigners at pre-trial stage. These include defendants accused of murdering, assaulting, raping, robbing, and committing other violent and drugs crimes against others on Guam. The pre-trial program would present banishment from Guam as an option, but only with the consent of victims, if there are any.

  • Thank you Sir, Attorney General D. Moylan, finally someone like you stepped on the mount and hit a grand-slam.

Q: What about the ones that are born here. They are trouble makers. Kept talking about they can’t be deported cuz they are U. S. Citizen. I believe that their citizen status should be strip from them because their upbringing was from their family and relatives violent behavior.

    • Who cares about what you think. Since they were born here they are US citizens. You can’t strip them of their citizenship. You must be perfect and have never done anything wrong. Who are you to judge anyone.. how about they strip you of your citizenship.. just for suggesting that they strip them of their us citizenship.. food for thought..
