GDOE Announces Students to Begin SY 2023-2024 on Wednesday, August 23, 2023
The Guam Department of Education (GDOE) would like to inform the island community that students will begin classes for school year (SY) 2023-2024 on Wednesday, August 23, 2023. Originally slated to begin Wednesday, August 9, the start date was delayed two weeks to allow our Facilities & Maintenance team to bring as many schools as possible into compliance with Public Law 37-4.
Teachers will report to work sites on Friday, August 4, 2023. The GDOE team is updating the SY 2023-2024 calendar and will post the revised SY 2023-2024 calendar on the official website and its social media accounts within the week.
