Felix, Felicia, and the cat Adelup cares for

No matter what you think of Governor Lou Leon Guerrero’s politics, there apparently is a fuzzier side to the island’s chief executive, Lieutenant Governor Joshua Tenorio, and their staff at Adelup: They are caring for two no-longer stray dogs, Felix and Felicia, and an unnamed cat, who all roam the halls.

“And because some of us work on the weekends we always make sure they are fed,” Mr. Tenorio’s chief advisor Stephanie Flores told Kandit.

This isn’t hard news, but this is the story of how three once-stray animals no longer are homeless and hungry because of caring people in the Office of the Governor of Guam. And, despite the politics, this says something good about our leaders.

NOTE: The cat couldn’t keep still for a picture, so we don’t have one of it.

Felix and Felicia Leon Guerrero Tenorio enjoy their residence at the upper left wing of the Ricardo J. Bordallo Governor’s Complex in Adelup.
