Another neni was rushed to the hospital and died under suspicious circumstances. Chief of Police Stephen Ignacio informed Kandit at 5:40 p.m. Thursday of the death of a one-year-old girl. He provided the following statement with the caveat that no additional information can be released at this time:
“The Guam Fire Department today notified Guam Police Department that they had responded to a Dededo residence, where they transported a 1-year-old female minor to GRMC. CPR was conducted en route. The Guam Police Department was later notified that the girl had passed away. The Dededo precinct is on the scene and has activated CIS to take over the investigation.”
