Grab-N-Go information for public school students


The Guam Department of Education’s (GDOE) Food and Nutrition Division provided the following School Meals Program information for students and families for SY 2024-2025.

All GDOE students will continue to have access to school meals for the school year 2024-2025 at no cost. Students that are in school for face-to-face instruction may proceed to the cafeterias for their regular scheduled meal times.

Students that are in the online, hardcopy learning instruction, or alternating days may pick up meals as Grab-N-Go. Please bring a valid ID as students will be identified via roster listing.

Grab-N-Go meals are ONLY for those students that are online, hardcopy learning instruction, or alternating days.

Meals that are picked up as Grab-N-Go meet the food safety standards for up to four (4) hours. The Food and Nutrition Division advises the public that meals that are picked up at 9:00 am, MUST be consumed before 12:00 pm. The Department will not be liable for any meals picked-up and consumed after the recommended time.

The school meal distribution takes place beginning Thursday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the following school sites:

1. Inarajan Middle School – pick up will be at Inarajan Elementary School
2. Southern High School – pick up will be at Harry S. Truman Elementary School
3. Jose Rios Middle School – pickup will be at Agana Heights Elementary School
4. George Washington High School – pickup will be at Untalan Middle School
5. Okkodo High School & FBLG Middle School – pickup will be at Astumbo Elementary School
6. Benavente Middle School – pickup will be at Wettengel Elementary School
7. Machananao Elementary School – pick up at Astumbo Elementary School
8. Daniel L. Perez Elementary School – pick up at Wettengel Elementarcy School
9. Upi Elementary School – pick up at Adacao Elementary School
10. Finegayan Elementary School – pick up at Maria Ulloa Elementary School
11. J.Q. San Miguel Elementary School – pick up C.L. Taitano Elementary School
12. C.H.B. Price Elementary School – pick up at M.U.Lujan Elementary School.
13. P.C.Lujan Elementary School – pick up at Carbullido Elementary School

“We recognize the importance of learning without having to worry about food insecurity and our school meals program will be available to ensure our students all have access to well-balanced meals,” GDOE Superintendent Erik Swanson said. “Thanks to a concerted effort, and the continued hard work of our GDOE staff and volunteers, our students will continue to receive nutritious meals at no cost “
