Guam son, 24, fighting for his life and in need of charity


A 24-year-old Guam man is fighting for his life after four years of dialysis, and needs money for continued dialysis and a kidney transplant. Loved ones of Kyle Siggaoat started a GoFundMe page to raise $30,000 for the Guamanian to survive kidney failure.

As of 7:50 p.m., Tuesday, August 29, 2023, donors have contributed $2,710, or nearly 10 percent of the required expenses for him to have a chance.

“For the past four years, he has been undergoing four hour dialysis session three to four times a week, which have taken a toll on his physical and emotional well-being,” Kristine Talavera, his friend, said. “As with most patients undergoing long term dialysis, Kyle is also now facing other health challenges such as cardiovascular disease, which requires heart catheterization to be done in California.”

At the young age of 24, Kyle Siggaoat, a vibrant young man was diagnosed with kidney failure.
