Heal from abortion trauma privately and with professional help this weekend at retreat

Have you had an abortion, or somehow participated in one? This weekend, a group of discreet professionals are inviting you to a confidential retreat free of judgment so that you might be able to process the experience and to begin a journey of healing.

No one outside the retreat will know you’re there. No one in the retreat will try to make you feel bad about anything. People who’ve gone through these retreats in Guam in the past have reportedly went home a bit more healed than when they walked into the retreat. And everyone who has asked for help on their journey of healing after the retreat has been met with open arms.

Rachel’s Vineyard began hosting retreats throughout the country in the early 1990s, and three years ago members of the Guam Pro-life Coalition brought the weekend retreat program to Guam.

Rachel’s Vineyard is a safe place to renew, rebuild and redeem hearts broken by abortion,” according to Rachel’s Vineyard Guam’s website. “Weekend retreats offer you a supportive, confidential and non-judgmental environment where women and men can express, release and reconcile painful post-abortive emotions to begin the process of restoration, renewal and healing.”

The location of the retreat is confidential. The roster of participants is known to only one of the coordinators. And, according to planners in a news conference held in March to familiarize the public with this third and upcoming retreat, the April 12 to 14, 2024 weekend retreat will be filled with activities, seminars, and praying that will be led by trained and licensed counselors, priests, and other professionals.

If you’re interested, call (671) 489-2752, or send an email message to: [email protected].

Only one of the coordinators has access to that email address in order to assure your privacy.
