The following is news from the Office of Rep. Leila Staffler:
The public is cordially invited to attend the “Health is the BEST Wealth” fair scheduled for this Saturday, November 20, 2021 from 8:30am to 12:00pm at the Kagman Community Center. This is an event planned for CNMI residents of all ages, especially those living in the Precinct 5 community, to promote active healthy activities and provide access to a variety of exhibitors who will share outreach and educational topics about healthy choices, healthy lifestyles and prevention.
How will it work? Community participants will get a passport at registration. For every activity they participate in or exhibitor they visit, they will get a stamp. Once they go through at least 7 of the exhibits and/or activities, they will get a giveaway that promotes healthy activity. There will also be a finale raffle with a grand prize of a Fitbit! All participants who complete their passport will automatically be included in the raffle. Finally, a healthy grab and go lunch will be provided for all participants, while supplies last.
