Help a woman to save her brother’s life

Jed Henry, the patient in this picture, needs a liver transplant in Texas. He needs a caregiver while there. His family is trying to raise the money to get his mom and two young brothers to Texas from Guam. Their goal is $10,000.

Mr. Henry’s sister, Jessica Fondaw, started a GoFundMe page to facilitate your charity. Click here to access the page.

Here is her message:

Hi everyone! My name is Jessica Fondaw I am Jed Henry’s sister and I am reaching out to you with a heartfelt plea of support. My brother was diagnosed with Wilson’s Disease. This leaves him in need of a liver transplant. He will undergo a 6-12 hour major surgery and spend a week after in the hospital. This is just the beginning of a long recovery and months of physical therapy. But before he can be put on the transplant, he will need an immediate family to be his caregiver. Our problem is we have no immediate family living in the mainland.
To help support Jed in this difficult time in his life, my family and I have set up a Go Fund Me campaign. Donations will go towards transportation and living expenses for our mom and two school aged brothers who will travel 7,145 miles from Guam to Texas to be Jed’s caregiver. We appreciate taking the time to read his story and are grateful for any type of support you have to offer.
