Help Chris Carillo to Get the Liver Transplant He Needs to Live

Local musician Chris Carillo, who also is one of the minds behind fruitful reforms of Guam’s welfare programs, is fighting for his life. According to his family and friends, Mr. Carillo was diagnosed recently with liver cirrhosis, and needs a liver transplant to live.
Christine and Marvin Matanane started a GoFundMe page (search Chris Carillo on GoFundMe and it’s the first page that pops up as an option, or click here to go directly to the page) to raise $60,000 for costs associated with Mr. Carillo’s critical medical needs.
Here is what the Matananes wrote in their GoFundMe page message to donors:

Throughout this challenging time, Chris and his devoted wife, Ina, have held onto hope for a match that could give him a second chance at life. However, the emotional and financial burdens they face are immense.
As a community, we have the power to make a difference. Chris has given so much to Guam through his music and kindness.
Now, it’s our turn to support him during this difficult time.
Let’s unite to help Chris and Ina. Every donation, prayer, and share of his story brings us closer to giving Chris the future he deserves. Thank you for standing by him when he needs it most. Together, we can be the hope he’s holding onto.
