(Office of the Attorney General, Saipan) – Attorney General Edward Manibusan is pleased to announce the nomination and acceptance of Attorney General Chief Investigator Ikluk Masayos to attend the 292nd Session of the FBI National Academy (“FBINA”) in Quantico, Virginia.
The FBINA is a professional 10-week course of study for U.S. and International Law Enforcement Leaders, which serves to improve the administration of justice in police departments and agencies at home and abroad, and to raise law enforcement standards, knowledge, and cooperation worldwide. Its mission is to support, promote, and enhance the personal and professional development of law enforcement leaders by preparing them for complex, dynamic and contemporary challenges through innovative techniques, facilitating excellence in education and research, and forging partnerships throughout the world.
Chief Investigator Masayos was hired by the OAG in January 2019 as an Investigator III and promoted to Chief Investigator in September 2022. Prior to joining the OAG, he worked as a Police Officer for the CNMI Department of Public Safety.
Attorney General Manibusan states, “I look forward to Chief Investigator Masayos attendance at this prestigious academy and I am certain that he will improve not only his skills as an investigator but also his personal and professional growth as a law enforcement officer. I extend my appreciation to the FBI for their support and assistance in the nomination process and look forward to future partnerships with their agency.”

Ikluk is currently enrolled in the Master’s Program for Public Administration in the University of Guam. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Chaminade University of Honolulu, Hawaii and earned his Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from the Northern Marianas College.
