IT&E: 77% cell sites operational; 50%-off on home internet, free unlimited data, non-payment service cutoff suspended until June 30, more

IT&E has made significant progress in restoring services. As of today, 77% of cell sites are operational and we are working around the clock to restore service to more subscribers.

“We have not lost our determination to provide the best possible communications to subscribers. We’ll continue to put in the hard and necessary work to restore and strengthen our network. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to subscribers for their patience and understanding,” said Jim Oehlerking, President of IT&E.

IT&E teams have been working tirelessly to repair damaged infrastructure and maintain services throughout the island. Generators continue to be deployed at cell sites in areas where local power is not available yet. This is ongoing island wide and may result in intermittent service interruptions.

Meanwhile, the following special services for subscribers are available to alleviate hardship during this difficult time:

  • BEAM Home Internet subscribers will receive 50% off their services for June.
  • Unlimited Data is available for all Postpaid subscribers, free of charge.
  • Tethering is available for all Postpaid subscribers, free of charge.
  • Service suspension due to nonpayment has been postponed until June 30.
  • Finance charges and late fees have been waived for May and June.
