Shows Will Now Take Place on August 19th & 20th!
Tamuning, Guam (June 9, 2023) – In light of the recent impact of Typhoon Mawar, Guam Comedy has regretfully announced the rescheduling of the highly anticipated Jo Koy comedy shows set for this weekend. The safety and well-being of our valued attendees, staff, and the overall community are of paramount importance to us, and we want these shows to deliver a premier experience for everyone.
The Jo Koy World Tour shows in Guam have been rescheduled to Saturday, August 19th and Sunday, August 20th.
Tickets purchased for June 10th are good for August 19th, and Tickets for June 11th are good for August 20th. All who purchased tickets online will receive an email with more ticket details. Other relevant information will be communicated through our official channels, including our website, social media platforms, and local media outlets.
Typhoon Mawar has caused significant damage and disruption across the island. As the community comes together to recover and rebuild, it is crucial that we direct our collective efforts towards supporting the recovery process and ensuring everyone’s safety. Guam Comedy promoters were hard at work alongside UOG employees to prepare and the UOG Calvo Field House is ready to accommodate other events and activities going forward.
We would like to express our gratitude to Jo Koy for his understanding and support during this challenging time. His commitment to his fans in Guam remains unwavering, and we are determined to bring his outstanding comedic performance to the island at the earliest opportunity. We would also like to extend our deepest sympathies to those affected by Typhoon Mawar.
For ticket holders, all purchased tickets will be honored for the rescheduled dates. Alternatively, refunds will be available for those unable to attend the new date. Detailed instructions regarding refunds and ticket management will be provided through our official channels in the near future.
