Today in France, John Carlo “Caloi” Baguyo will be representing Guam in the 2023 Ironman World Championship.
Mr. Baguyo has been training as a triathlete with the Guam Triathlon Federation for a decade. On September 10 in Nice, he will participate in the ocean swim, technical hinterland bike course, and ocean run.
He will be racing against more than 2,200 other athletes from 93 countries.
Mr. Baguyo raced last year for the Pacific Mini Games.
