Tinian’s very own Isa Ha’ani Long is just a few votes shy from winning the People’s Choice Award in the United States Miss Teen Massachusetts pageant. With less than 24 hours left to vote, the Harvard University student who was born in Saipan, is beating out all but one contestant in the state.
Isa’s father, Phil Mendiola Long, put out the following message, which includes the website, where you may vote:
Hafa Adai Marianas Familia! Our Tinian island daughter, Isa Ha’ani Long , is running for Ms. Teen Massachusetts and needs your help to raise funds for a non-profit as a part of her duties as a contestant.
The teen that raises the most funds will be given the title of People’s Choice Winner as they raise funds by votes for the candidate which costs $1 per vote.
You can vote as many times as you want and they will be added to the cart. Once you have increased the number of votes you want, scroll up to top right corner and look for thr purse icon. That is the cart where you can checkout and make payment for the amount of votes you want to cast for Isa.
Please help us shock Massachusetts by having this little girl from Tinian win the People’s Choice Award!

Si Yu’us Ma’ase and Thank you all for the wonderful support of our island grown daughter, Isa. Isa spent her whole life on the island of Tinian and this is her first time living permanently the US Mainland for school, much less, experiencing snow and the frightfully cold North East.
Isa is humbled by the massive Guam and Marianas support and has promised to continue spreading knowledge about our island culture and unrivaled hospitality.
If she is so blessed to win the People’s Choice Award, she will be a fantastic advocate for our islands and our people.
