Betty Diamond Katsuta’s mother – Bertha Kachita – checks every day with the Guam Police Department whether officers made any break in the case of her missing daughter. Betty, 24, was last seen at their home on Chalan Cabesa, Mataguac, Yigo, on December 21 around 5 p.m.
Ms. Kachita has health issues and does not drive or have a car, amplifying her every-waking-moment worry for her daughter’s life.
Today she met with GPD spokeswoman Berlyn Savella, and together they made a plea to the public for anyone with information about Betty’s whereabouts to contact police. Ms. Kachita also directed part of her message to her daughter, in case she is voluntarily staying away from home and sees the video.
