A Grand Jury handed down an indictment today against Nicholas Wayne Moore for two counts of Third Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct for having sex with a minor less than 16 years of age around December 2016 and January 2017. His arraignment is scheduled for October 13, 2021.
A Grand Jury is made up of 16-23 members of the community who hear evidence and decide whether there is reasonable cause to believe that an accused person has committed a crime. At least 12 Grand Jury members must agree that reasonable cause exists in order to return a True Bill.
