Police looking for man who attempted to kidnap underage girl


The following is a news release from the Guam Police Department:
The Guam Police Department is seeking the assistance of the community in identifying and locating a suspect.
On Thursday, March 24, 2022, between the hours of 4:30PM and 5:00PM an incident occurred on Francisco Javier Street in Agana Heights where a female minor was jogging and was faced with a man unknown to her who used force in attempts to take her into his vehicle.
The victim managed to get away from the suspect to seek help however the suspect attempted a second time to get the victim into his vehicle. She was able to escape from her attacker.
The Guam Police is asking for the community’s help as we continue to search for a man between the ages of 30 to 40, dark complexion, short hair, facial sideburns, tall, and slim build.
The suspect was described to be attired in a white short-sleeve shirt, black shorts, and black slippers.
The suspect’s vehicle was described as: White Older model 4 door, 4×2 Rusty Toyota truck, unknown License plate Tinted windows, Rusty chrome front bumper and slightly rusty body
If any person(s) who may have been within the area of Francisco Javier Street in Agana Heights or within the surrounding vicinity who may have witnessed the incident or may recognize the described vehicle or person described, we kindly ask the community to contact the Guam Police Department at 671-475-8615, 671-475-8616, 671-475-8617 or any nearest precinct.
