Sadly this is another result of drug abuse! Families continue to suffer from addiction to meth which is the 👿 to me!!! Meth continues to destroy families on our island and it seems to be getting more out of control. What’s worse is even some of our FSM guests are getting hooked on it and creating havoc like all the other addicted users!
Our island is in dire need of more rehab centers to be available so that we can combat this crisis. Jail doesn’t seem to be the answer because when they’re released most of them just become repeated offenders.
We need a bigger and better recovery center with less red tape for people who want to get in to get the help they need. Hopefully it will have fully trained staff that really care and follow through.
Hopefully Mr. Akima can get some help to get off his addiction and get his life back on track.
Thankfully now his wife will get the help and protection she needs because I’m sure it has been a nightmare and a living hell for her.
I pray for her to have the strength to better herself and remember her self worth! Every woman deserves a chance to live a better life. No one deserves to be treated like an animal!!! Thank goodness she made it out before it was too late unlike many others.
May she receive all the support she needs from our government to help her start a new life. I know it’s difficult and scary to leave an abusive relationship in the beginning but with the right support it can be done. Women need to know that there is help out there to protect them and keep them safe and most of all help them regain their self worth and dignity! There is help out there and all we need is to find the courage to leave especially if there’s children involve. Think of their safety if not yours and don’t wait until it’s too late.
