San Agustin moves from Public Health to governor’s office

Kandit has confirmed with Arthur San Agustin that he has stepped down as director of public health and social services, after having worked there for decades. He is now a special assistant for the governor.

The following is Mr. San Agustin’s statement to Kandit:

“After 35 years and 9 months of service, it was time to retire. Fortunately I am able to remain with the administration as a special assistant where I’ll be able to help with various health and social welfare initiatives. This includes things like streamlining the process for public assistance, managing various grants, and working with the team to ensure the new public health lab gets built as quickly as possible.”

Peter John Camacho is the acting director of public health, according to governor’s spokeswoman Krystal Paco-San Agustin.

This guy is the face of GovGuam corruption, nepotism, inefficiency, greed and unelected sleaziness – similar to Rory Respicio.

What was his salary at DPHSS?

What did he accomplish at DPHSS (other than being indicted for public corruption) and during the past 30 years while he was slurping from the GovGuam trough?

What is his tax-payer paid salary in his current unelected, corrupt, nepotistic GovGuam “position”?

Anyone who supports this creep . . .
