Aboard a flight to Rota from Saipan today was special cargo for frontliners helping with the disaster recovery in the southernmost island of the CNMI: McDonald’s cheeseburgers.
The donation came from Saipan Sen. Celina Roberto Babauta, who was given a discount by McDonald’s co-owner Marcia Ayuyu. Rota Sen. Donald Manglona coordinated the distribution.
Ms. Babauta thanked Ms. Ayuyu and her staff at McDonald’s for their help, and Mr. Manglona for his coordination on Rota.

While I salute Sen Babauta for her thought, there is nothing so bad as a cold cheeseburger and cold french fries.
Hopefully all had a microwave available to heat it up. ALSO they took the hamburger patty out of the bun first to put in the microwave. (without the bread)
A very good thought though.
