Weather officials on Guam have issued a tropical cyclone formation alert for Invest 94W, a weather system brewing north of Pohnpei.
“This is something we’ve got to watch closely while it remains in our eastern vicinity,” Landon Aydlett, chief meteorologist of the National Weather Service Guam office, said.
Mr. Aydlett said the system currently is tracking west-northwestward. He will be live on Kandit News & Views at 11 a.m. today via phone to discuss the development further.
