The Adjutant General promotes Castro to First Sergeant


Newly promoted 1st Sgt. Ivan Castro of the Guam National Guard’s 94th Civil Support Team is promoted by Maj. Gen. (GU) Esther Aguigui in Barrigada on Jan. 18. Castro assumes responsibility for the CST from outgoing 1st Sgt. Anthony Cruz.

    You guys should write a story on how the adjutant general Aguigui modifies the UNITED OF STATES ARMY MILITARY UNIFORM. Replacing the US flag with an unauthorized Guam Flag, Replacing the US Army tape with “GU Army”. That is against military regulations and even our HEROES have died wearing that uniform correctly. If our island’s highest military leader can get away with this, I think every military member that was held accountable for military wrongdoing should be given a pardon, especially if it was under the island’s present military leadership. Shame on the governor , adjutant general Aguigui and shame on the other military leaders. To think integrity is one of the Army’s Core values.
