Communist Chinese propaganda flourishing in Saipan, USA

I admire the hardworking Saipan Chinese News! Holidays or not, they publish on time! Of course, publishing on time is a lot easier when they plagiarize almost all of the content.

It’s interesting to think about what these people must tell their children about plagiarizing at school? It’s ok as long as you only plagiarize ideologically correct materials? Or how thankless it must be to be anyone with any original ideas in China. What’s the use, when those who steal from you will be seen as no worse than you are?

Indeed, why has China under the CCP never invented anything (other than lies)? It’s from not any lack of intellect. People from China do brilliant work once they’ve broken away from the evil machine. And we all know that before the CCP, China invented quite a lot, even the gunpowder without which I could never discipline my servants.

But this hints at so many interesting questions! For example, what does it mean when Betty Bai, the editor of the Saipan Chinese News, who plagiarizes and reprints CCP propaganda as her literal day job, is a translator at the federal district court?

And while I have no inside scoop on the matter, if I were setting up an espionage cell in a foreign country, especially one with a free press, calling my agents “journalists” would certainly be one of my top strategies. (Oh, but CCP-run China claims that it never spies. In fact, it is the only country in history to claim that it never spies.)

Federal law enforcement might be getting Bai-curious!

I hate to bore you, but my grandchildren NEVER CALL ME, so please let me summarize a bit of what was in this January 5th issue of the Saipan Chinese News:

As is my custom, I will list the gist of each article in the January 5 issue of the Saipan Chinese News, and then where it was plagiarized from:

Koreans find that China is so high-tech
From Global Times (CCP propaganda)

False alarms harass US lawmakers
From Ta Kung Pao (CCP propaganda)

Americans kidnap Chinese student
From Legal Society (CCP propaganda)

Indians are human traffickers
From Ta Kung Pao (CCP propaganda)

Israeli soldiers perish
From Observer Network (CCP propaganda)

Cai Esheng sentenced to death
From Southern Metropolis (CCP propaganda)

Everything is ok with banks in China really seriously believe us plz
From (CCP propaganda)

American CEOs are so weird
From ZaoBao (Singaporean newspaper)

Quaker Oats recall
From CTWant (Taiwanese newspaper)

Foreigners use Bank of China cashless payments
From China News Service (CCP propaganda)

Economic development in Guangdong Province
From Ta Kung Wen Wei (CCP propaganda)

Alibaba feud
From China News Weekly (CCP propaganda)

Americans can’t afford houses
From US China Press (CCP propaganda)

Chinese people love traveling in China
From US China Press (CCP propaganda)

After all that, I had to take a LONG COLD SHOWER to make sure reading all this propaganda hadn’t made me a CCP drone! Fortunately, I still have no desire to invade foreign countries, dump nuclear waste, gleefully abuse animals, murder Chinese Muslims, steal intellectual property, spread vicious lies, or love all the world’s murderous dictators.

So I guess I’m still the same old Mabel. Hooray!

I no longer frequent the MEI. Mark tried to scam me and I didn’t bite.

As expected, you ducked my question.

    • It is not so much found in the body of each article, but in the linguistic nuance of the titles themselves that propagate hidden hints of what the CCP is all about. Having lived and taught in mainland China for a few years the subtlety of the propaganda is there…

What is absent from your and Mabel’s response is one specific, identifiable, example.

I am quite familiar with the Chinese; my wife and step daughter are Chinese. They are secretive but if they’re agents for the CCP, I would be surprised.
